Reverend Sweet was a gentleman and a true Christian. Rev. Sweet supported my challenging beliefs when I was growing up at Niantic Community Church, and I'm so grateful he was a part of my young, formative years. Years later, I found myself, again, at Camp Aldersgate - but this time with a church from Quincy, MA, where I was living. Camp Aldersgate was and is a special place, and may be part of my connection with the sanctity of nature. Wishing peace and special memories of Rev. Sweet to remain in the hearts of friends and family.

Betty, so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. What a kind person he was, always was highlight of my day at Heritage Heights when either of you would come to get your mail or just visit. So glad you have such a great family for support.

Hi, my name is Debbie Harris Baldwin. In the early 1970´s Bob was the minister of the Niantic Community Church. My family was an active member in the church community. In March of 1976 my father, Norris Harris Jr. suddenly died at age 41.
Bob Sweet was the most caring in helping the family thru this most difficult time. I have never found a minister since then who truly embodies the true meaning of Christianity. I´m sure my father met him at the gate to continue their many conversations. God bless.

Bob was the epitomy of a gentleman. He not only talked the talk ... He walked the walk. He, along with his wonderful wife Betty, was very generous of his time, knowledge and labor helping the less fortunate around the world. I was so fortunate to call him friend and will miss his energetic enthusiasm toward life. God Bless Bob , Betty and the entire family.
