My good friend and compadre! Thanks for the gift of your abiding friendship over all these years. How I treasure the memories of retreats wherein we were roommates! How grateful I am for your officiating at my marriage to Susan. You were always a great friend, and you will be keenly missed! Rest in peace, my friend.

Those who knew Him, did understand; He was our friend, our priest, our mentor. He always had time and was always gracious, understanding, and patient.

I was shocked to hear about the death of Bob. We've been friends since our Seminary days, and had kept in touch frequently since then. He visited with me each year in California, and we talked on the phone frequently. I'm heartbroken to hear this news. He will be in my prayers each day. +May he rest in peace.

We are very sorry to hear of Fr. Bob’s passing and will be sure to keep him in our prayers here at our Chapel. Fr. Bob was a fellow alumnus, having graduated in 1975 from Nashotah House — we give thanks for his life and ministry. We live in the great hope of being in God’s presence in the love and mercy that he so freely gives.

Fr. Bob was a seminarian from St. Margaret of Scotland Parish (South Shore), Chicago. We both served at the Altar as Sub-Deacons and Master of Ceremonies. He was a very warm and loving future Priest. JESU MERCY, MARY PRAY!

I first met Fr. Bob when I came to work in the Elgin Deanery as Interim Rector at St. Columba in Hanover Park. He was very kind to me, as the new kid on the block, and I always found him to be honest, open, direct, and a man of faith, a priest who was easy to respect, and to work with. May he rest in Christ's peace and rise in Christ's glory.
