I will always be grateful for the care and grace Sherry showed my parents during their years at Franke...especially when we lost our mother last August. I offer my remembrance about one of her lovely visits to my mother here...https://catherine-hause.squarespace.com/blog/2017/11/7/good-news-a-remembrance

I knew Sherry when she was living in Sanford. I'm not sure how we met, but thinking it might have been through my volunteer service with Lee Co. Family Violence, now called Haven House of Sanford,
Sherry officiated my wedding ceremony. She had a warm heart, a genuine and gentle spirit. She really liked my husband Jimmy because he was so laid back with a great sense of humor. He always made her laugh.
I know she will be missed by her family, friends, and church community. Knowing her brings a smile, but also a sad heart that she left us way too soon.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Sherry. She was there when my Dad passed away and helped our family grieve. Sherry also had a great sense of humor and her shoes were just the greatest. All the colors.
I will miss her and her strength to push thru the worst...cancer. A champion..

Sherry, I will always remember you, your smile, your love of all people, your love of animals, and your mentoring. You were, and still are a blessing to us, as your memory lives on in our hearts.

Dave and family,

My heart breaks at the loss of dear sweet and amazingly unique Sherry. If ever there was a clear voice of God on earth...one full of compassion, grace, and sincerity, it was Sherry. From the moment I met her, I knew I was in the presence of someone so very special. She always called me her brother from another mother, and I was blessed to call her my sister. She always met me with a word of encouragement....even when she was facing great personal health odds. And her hugs.....truly amazing. I am sad for all of us in returning her to the God who created this amazingly special lady....but for her, I rejoice that she is free from any physical pain. And poor Saint Peter....I am sure that when Sherry arrived at the pearly gates, she rolled her eyes and lifted her flute when he began to outline the "rules of heaven." I hope my mom was there to greet her as she was so amazing to her in her final days and at her funeral. May the choirs of angels celebrate in this new voice and new flautist....and may light perpetual always shine upon her.....until I get one of her hugs again in heaven.
