OSKALOOSA — Rhonda Martin, 51, of Oskaloosa, died Friday, April 4, 2008, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.She was born April 23, 1956, at Wichita Falls, Texas, the daughter of Donald and Betty Lou Chancellor Wright. She graduated from the Trona High School in Trona, Calif., with the class of 1974. On June 13, 1974 she was united in marriage to Dennis Martin at Trona, Calif. She was a homemaker following their marriage. Rhonda enjoyed sharing her faith in Christ with everybody she met. She also enjoyed flower gardening, landscaping, playing the piano and singing, and crafts.Her family includes her husband, the Rev. Dennis Martin, of Oskaloosa; her son and his fiancé, Daniel (and Emily Haugsand) Martin, of Tulsa, Okla.; her parents: Don and Betty Wright, of Inyokern, Calif.; her father-in-law, Roy Martin, of Lenox; a brother, Donald Wright, of Inyokern, Calif.She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her mother-in-law: Reva martin; and a brother-in-law: Perry MartinAs was her wish her body has been cremated, and no visitation is planned.
