With fondest memories of a neighbor who lived above me in Burbank on Frederick Street. I spent a lot of time upstairs while he began writing a second novel. He was a great neighbor who played his music loud, "Lawrence of Arabia" everyday. He had a young son, Ricky at the time and was very devoted to this child. I introduced himi to my best friend at the time, Marcia, and they fell in love. He played Lawrence of Arabia and I could hear it coming through the floor. Now he was playing that album for her and eventually they got married. Alas, but happy for them he moved to Toluca Lake. They had a daughter, Tracy, and son John and Marcia and I kept in touch until a couple years ago. I knew Sadik suffered from diabetes but didn't know he had gone blind. Interestingly, I was a volunteer for years at Braille Institute. Funny how life is so vivid even though years pass memories never fade. I still have that album, Lawrence of Arabia, still have his book and now I have the sweetest memories. Sleep in the arms of your Savior, Sadik, and I will pray for you and your family, with love, Barbara.

To the Family. Life is like a mist. Its here today and gone tomorrow. But memories are left behind to cherish. Continue to give comfort to one another, along with heartfelt prayers and loving support from friends to give your hearts enough room to cope with your loss. (Psalms 119:32)

My Deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Richard. May the comfort of our heavenly father who is our Rock & Stronghold give you peace and in this time of grief. He is our shield and the God of refuge. Psalms 18:2. Sincerely, JR

I am the receptionist for the law office where Mr. Adlai's son practices law. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Adlai in person, I enjoyed many phone conversations with him, over the past 9 years, when he would call to speak to his son. He was such a kind & thoughtful person. He remembered EVERYTHING we spoke about & even called to wish me happy birthday every year! I will miss our phone conversations very much. My heart goes out to Tarik, his family & friends!
