Father Richard Alton was a spiritual guide to his parishioners and his many friends. His legacy is profound. Although his work on Earth is now completed, he continues to be deeply missed. Prayers for him, for Barbara, for Francis, for Tom, for his many friends, and for the parishes he served. Much love, Susan

So many memories of Rick from the years 1977 to 1982 or so. He was an assistant organist at St Catherine of Siena parish in Greenwich (Riverside) CT at that time. When Ellen and I married at St Catherine´s back in November, 1979, Rick was the organist for our wedding Mass. IMHO, he was the best organist St.Catherine´s ever had. He felt a call to priesthood at that time; since he and Barbara were already married, he had to join the Episcopal Church. I recall that we went to their wedding in Boston earlier in `79-what a great reception at Faneuil Hall! My great regret is that, once Rick and Barbara left the Catholic Church ( I remember attending their reception at a Mass at Christ Church in Greenwich), we fell out of touch. Indeed we never saw Rick and Barbara again. May Rick rest in peace, and may Barbara know the consolation of wonderful memories!
In Jesus´ love,
