Dear Rachelle and Apuzzo Family,

I will miss seeing and waving "Hello" to Mr. Apuzzo as I drove down Bloomingdale each day from my house. I'm not sure if he even knew who I was, but he smiled each time and made my day. My family and I keep you and Mr. Apuzzo in our prayers.

To Joanne and family:

So sorry to hear about Rich's passing. I can just see him and my brother John Militello and Duke Palermo cutting up in heaven like they used to when we were all single young men. They would allow me (the kid) to go with them sometimes. It made for some special memories from my "formative years".

"Pootzie Bird" was indeed special.

I'm sure your family has many fond memories to take you through these tough times..........Dennis Militello

To the family of Richard Apuzzo;

We're so sorry to hear about your loss.We'll really miss Richard. I have such fond memories growing up with him and the fun times we had over these many years at the Cousin's Picnics. Especially the baseball games, watching the movies he took and of course the fireworks.

We grieve with you and pray God's comforting arms around you during this difficult time.
