I am shocked and did not know Rick passed away, today looking for his address I see this tragic obituary. To his family, I admired Rick; he was a good man, unique in many ways and possessed many qualities to be admired. He always spoke about his love of family. God Bless him and his loved ones. God bless your soul my neighbor. Rick sold me and my wife the house we live in. We later found out he was also our neighbor, and to our shock, we realized our house was built as an exact replica of his house!! He was also my patient and we often talked about health issues and politics. He gave me a few sound business advises that I still appreciate dearly. Rick lived life as it was meant to be lived, to the fullest. I pray The Lord to grant him paradise and grant his family peace.

Rick was an amazing man. I had the opportunity to meet and get to know Rick through his banking. If I have learned anything from Rick, it is to live life to the fullest, embracing life, love and happiness! He left a profound impact on all of use here at the bank and we are still stunned and heartbroken over his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Damon and I were fortunate that Jack Hines introduced us to Rick in our early days of becoming involved with the Vintage Hydroplane Family. I met Rick at the Vintage Event in Tavares in March, and Damon and I met up with Rick, the following weekend, at the Wooden Boat Festival in Tavares. I only had the opportunity to know Rick for 4 short months, but I valued his leadership, his opinions, but most of all his friendship. The Beatty Family and The Vintage Hydroplane Family has lost a great man! Our thought and prayers are with Rick's family, friends, and the entire Vintage Hydroplane Family.

I was Rick's hairstylist and always looked forward to his visits at our Salon. He was a man with class and style, always impeccably dressed.
His intelligence and humor made our conversations a great pleasure. He talked a lot about his two loves, his family and his boats. I am very saddened about his death and will miss him.
My condolences to his family

We also had the blessing of enjoying conversations with Rick on several occasions over wine and food (along with Robin M.) He was most interesting and kind. Our deepest sympathy to his family, friends, and may they draw from our Lord His supernatural comfort and strength .. as He is currently providing to our family, as our Mom is now almost one week along her journey towards her heavenly Home.

I met Rick through his love of fine wine and food eight years ago. He was a wonderful, funny, generous man. Incredibly saddened to hear of his passing. Praying for his family during this difficult time. See you on the other side Rick!

I am so sad to hear of Ricks passing. I was his limo driver for several years. We would always talk about what was happening with each other at that time and we would enjoy talking about our pasts. He was awesome to work for. He treated me like family. He will be greatly missed. Prayers to his family.

Mr. Beatty ate at our restaurant every year he would me in Madison, IN for the boat races. He dined with us Friday night July 5th. He was always a nice guy and I enjoyed our long talks while he was here. Every person on our team here at Crystal & Jules send our condolences. He was a great dude.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I am from Madison, Indiana where the Madison Regatta boat races are held. I was not on the river for the races, but several of my immediate family were. I do not know how to express my sympathy to you. Except for being saddened by this. But from what I have read driving his boat was a love of his, and I pray that he was really happy and enjoying himself..May he Rest In Peace
