Finally found this to confirm my worst thoughts. My dear High School buddy and Banning Pilot brother. I have been thinking of you often. I will now remember our best times togher.. Especially the 10 year class reunion. Our 50th is next month. Rest in Paradise brother. My profound belated condolences to Richard's Family and all who shared love for this great man.

Generous and funny, and always a delight to be around. Working with him on any project was a fun experience.

As family and friends gather to honour Richard in Anchorage, here in London we are recalling Richard's friendship and talents over our decades in Alaska. It is probably not well known that without his guidance, support, energy and good will, Out North may never have existed. Richard's involvement in the arts and civic life is legendary -- the show deserved a longer run.
Blessings to all,
Jay & Gene

Goodnight sweet prince. And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

My thoughts and prayers go to his family! He was such a genuine person and I will dearly miss him and not seeing him around.

My thoughts are with the family during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is a hope for our love ones lost in death can be reassuring.
