Richard D. Bird

Richard Bird was our family's attorney and friend. He was one of the kindest man and would always smile when we would meet him anywhere. May God bless this family and rest assured to know they are in our prayers.

There are many words to describe Richard D. Bird but the one that fits him best in my opinion was "godly". My deepest sympathy to the family.

Steve and family, I am saddened by your loss. Richard was a fine man and I want to think he helped in my outcome as an adult. He helped me and my family through a difficult situation in my youth and he helped me get into the U.S. Navy. I still remember that Commander I had to go see for my waiver interview and he spoke of Richard's raving endorsement of me, with only one regret. That I wasn't joining the and I quote " the finest organization in the world. The U.S. Infantry as a rifleman. " I know you all have many fond memories of your Dad as do many others in the community and state. I know he is in heaven and is rejoicing with his Lord and Savior. Thank you for everything . You and the family are in my prayers.

I am sorry for your loss. Prayers that God will comfort you and keep you in the hollow of His hand.

Richard Bird was a fine man whom my family held in high regard. He was a brilliant man who gave much of his time and talents to his community and church. He was so very proud of his family and loved his friends. My Dad considered Richard a close friend and always looked forward to sharing a lighthearted political debate over morning coffee. He will be missed by so many.

Mr. Bird was a Great Man. He helped so many people in his life time. He would always say Hello to us when we were out and about. He has a Wonderful Family that will miss him Greatly. I have known Mr. Bird for years and he always smiled at me and shook my hand never looking down on me. He left behind a family and friends that will truly remember all the good things he did just because he was such a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, so much more. I know my Husband and I will miss him I myself will have a part of him in my Heart. I'm sorry for your Family loss. God took another Angel to be with him in Heaven. God takes the very Best.
