Richard Kerry Black

Ricky Black, 34, of Winchester, died, Saturday evening, March 26, 2016, from injuries sustained in a car accident on Pudding Hill Rd in Winchester.

He was born, in Keene, on November 18, 1981, the son of Kerry Black and Kathy (Leavitt) Donald. He attended Thayer High School and was a lifelong area resident.

He married Crystal M. Descavich on August 10, 2013 in a ceremony held at the Winchester Kiwanis Club.

Ricky was a social and outgoing guy. Whether out with friends or with his family, he would give the shirt off his back "if he had one on". He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing horse shoes or just hanging out. He was an auxiliary member of the Winchester VFW Post # 3968.

He worked most recently for R&B Auto as a mechanic.

He is survived by his wife: Crystal M. Black of Winchester; his son: Damion Allen of Amherst. MA; his daughter: Alexsis Black of Winchester; his mother: Kathy Donald and her husband Neal of Winchester; his father Kerry Black and his companion June of Warwick, MA; his sisters: Brooke Ruskowski and her husband Justin of Ashuelot, Jessica Hill of Springfield, VT, Amanda Black of Winchester and Stephanie Bailey of Charlestown; his Paternal Grandmother: Connie Tatro and her husband Ron of Winchester; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather: Richard "Dick" Black and his maternal grandparents: Herbert and Lucy Leavitt.

There are no public calling hours planned, per the request of the family. A Celebration of Ricky's Life will be held on April 9th, 2016, at 1:00pm at the Winchester VFW, 5 S. Main St., Winchester NH 03470. A Private Burial will take place at a later date.
