Richard Boyd Obituary
Rick went to Kenmore High School in Akron, Ohio, class of 1978. He was very passionate about music. Rik was a singer, song writer, producer, and an accomplished guiter player.
Rik was preceded in death by his father and mother, Marion and Evelyn Boyd. He leaves behind his loving wife of almost 12 years, Shari Boyd. Rik also leaves behind a daughter, Cassie King, brothers, Ed and Ronnie, sister, Patti, 3 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Respects can be paid to Rik and his family at his home, 10912 Wahine Drive South, Jacksonville, FL 32246 on Thursday evening from 6 until 8 PM.

Uncle Rik you will be greatly missed by many. You were always able to make me smile even when I didn't want to. I am glad that I had the privilege of knowing you and being a part of your life. Now you Mike and Dad make some music together and one day we will See You on the Other Side.

Rik, I will miss you my brother. Your sharp wit and fast mind was not to be matched. You had such an impact on so many lives. I have so many wonderfull memories. rick, was one of those guys ya just liked 2 hang around with, we all partied 2gether as a group @ verlins basement countless days & nights alot of good times n the middle 70s, rick was a hellva guitar player, he knew i liked sin city & @ shows he would start 2 play the lead of the song & all his band members didn't like it but rick did it 4 me anyhow that was rick gonna miss ya bro rip !!

Rik I love you so much and I don't know how I am going to go on without you, but I know you will always be here in my heart. You are the love of my life and I will cherish every moment we had together. The hardest part is waking up in the morning and you not being there to tell me what you did in the recording studio all night long. Each morning was a different adventure. I know you are in a better place, we talked about this a lot you couldn't wait to go to heaven and play you some music. I love you from the bottom of my heart. Your loving wife, Shari
