Richard "Coach" Bridges

Dear Mary Jane,
I just saw Richard's obituary and I want to let you know how sorry I am to hear of his passing. He was such a nice man. You guys were very kind to my parents when they lived beside you.

So sorry for your loss. Coach Bridges was such a kind compassionate man. I had him as a teacher at Doyle for Science. I also have memories of him singing at the Pigeon Forge Rod Runs. And so many more memories....He will greatly missed! Praying for the family. God Bless!

Richard and l were team mates at Central High. He was a great player and a wonderful person. My deepest condolences to his family.

I worked with Richard at Farragut Primary. He was loved by the kids and teachers. Prayers for the family. May he Rest In Peace.

In his last years as a teacher, Coach Bridges taught primary age children, one of whom was my son, Zane. All the little children loved Coach, and that says a lot about the man. He touched hundreds of lives in good and positive ways, and I am very sorry about his passing.

Richard was at FPS when I taught there . He was loved by all the children he had in his PE classes.
He was a great friend and teacher. May he Rest In Peace ✝

He had such a kind and caring way about him. We will surely miss him but it’s comforting knowing he has gone home and singing with the Lord

Richard was such a kind, happy man. I will always remember him fondly. What I remember most about him was his contagious smile and the way he always made everyone feel special. He had a joy in living that is rarely seen. My thoughts are with Mary Jane, Rick and the entire Bridges family at this time. I hope time brings healing and only happy memories!
