Richard Brown

I worked as an Administrative Secretary (1980s) in the Administrative offices of Research Medical Center when Dick was President. Dick was so intelligent and carried with him a respectful presence when he entered the room. You knew he meant business, and he respected hard and honest work.

Dick was always so kind to me. He loved the jellybeans on my desk (especially the red ones) and enjoyed the `oldies´ radio station playing quietly behind my desk. I learned a lot from him - he represented power and strength and was able to relate to anyone in any walk of life. He was one of the better parts of my life experience. Hope to see him in Heaven someday. Love and prayers to his family.

Dick was the first CEO I worked with, some 40 years ago. I will always appreciate his patience with me, his kindness and his trust.
