Richard Brown Obituary
Richard was predeceased by his first wife Judith A. (Stockno) Brown, a Registered Nurse, who passed away in 2004 after a long illness. Richard married Anita (Dodier) Bond, from Lebanon, NH in 2006. Anita passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
He is survived by his daughter Alyson L. Brown, and his son, Richard S. Brown and his wife, MaryJane, also of Oakville, along with several step-children, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy Moriarty of Storrs, CT.
Richard's family will receive friends on Saturday, September 27th, 2025, from 3pm to 5pm at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, CT 06095. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in Richard's name to USO.org or a charity of your choice.

Richard was such a wonderful man and friend. We first met at the Oakville Library many years ago and always had some wonderful conversations. He had such a passion for his card making and was very proud to show them off, even generously giving them to people he had just met for the first time, Richard was very lucky to find another love after his first wife passed away. He and Anita shared many good times together in Ct and NH and I hope they are happy again. The Scrabble Club won´t be the same without you. I will miss you dearly

My sincere condolences. I took care of both Richard & Judy at Dr Hamills office for several yrs. Loved them. I remembered how Richard found his 2nd wife too.
