Richard "Dick" Byrne

Dick and I were TKEs at Rochester. He was a good guy. It is no surprise to me that he became a doctor. He is in my thoughts.

Dr. Byrne helped me out a lot with several things, which never came back on me. I will always be grateful for his help.

My heart is sad, Cathryn. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Megan. I will remember his compassion and his great sense of humor.

I worked as a RN with Dr. Byrne in 2011 when I joined the OR at AMH until his retirement. The Orthopedic service is known as a difficult one, but Dr. Byrne was an excellent teacher. He was patient and took the time to explain everything. He changed my perspective about orthopedics to a positive one. Great mentor and guy. His services, dry sense of humor and smile will be missed!

Dick was a great guy,excellent orthopedic surgeon and wonderful neighbor. He will be missed.
