Connie and Family,
You have my deepest sympathy. Rick was one of my teachers in James E. Rodgers School. I don't know if you would remember me after all this time, but if there is anything that I can do for you Please contract me. I often think about the summer when I was a kid and spent the it hanging around you, Rick, and your sister Bonnie. That was one of the best times in my life! I will always remember Rick in my prays.
Love To All,

I worked with Rick at the Shuman Center and just learned of his death today. Rick was truely a "legend in his own time" and the story of his wrestling a bear is a part of Shuman lore! His family meant everything to him, and he often filled the lunchroom table with funny stories about his kids. I remember him well, and offer my deepest sympathy to his loved ones. I feel certain he will continue to look out for you all from his new vantage point!

Connie, We were friends many years ago when the boys wrestled. I know the pain you are suffering because Mike passed away on Monday. Every now and then Mike would run into Rick. Rick was a wonderful person. Always there for the kids. We have lost so many from our wrestling family.

Dear Connie & Family,
I was saddened to learn of Rick's passing. I went to Penn Hills High School with Rick and also worked with him at Shuman Center. We particularly enjoyed the many stories he would share with us. Rick put his heart into everything that he did. May your many good memories help to ease the pain of your loss. Rick will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
