Richard B. "Dick" Carlson

Carlson, Richard B. "Dick" Born on March 26, 1927 and passed away on August 14, 2013 surrounded by his family. Richard was a loving, kind hearted husband of 56 years to Mary Lou and a wonderful father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by wife, Mary Lou; daughter, Kim McAllister, son-in-law Shawn McAllister and grandson Tyler McAllister; son, Rick Carlson and fiancée Yvonne Witucki Roe and daughter, Hannah, and brother, Burt Carlson. Dick had a quick wit and sweet smile. He lived in the Minnetonka area most of his life. He was an avid woodcarver and loved spending time with family and friends. A celebration of Richard's life will be held on Sat., August 17, 3:00 PM with visitation starting at 2:00 PM at the Washburn-McReavy home located at 5000 W. 50th at Hwy. 100, Edina, 952-920-3996.
