Richard Daniel Colabelli

I think of this terrible day for his mother; she and I both lost our beloved sons --mine four years ago....Arlene's Richard and my Steve did not know each other, but both loved life and lived it to the fullest. I try to keep those good thoughts alive, but losing our children...should not be.

I think about Rich everyday. He was one of my closest friends through my younger life. So positive and so care free. It was something I envied and something I miss seeing. I often ride by where his life came to a tragic end and say a prayer for him and his mother. I miss him.

Rich, such a genuine, good soul. May you rest in peace. God bless you. Your great memories live on.

I met Richard only once but was immediately impressed by him. Handsome, smart, hard working--his mother was so proud of him. Easy to see why.

I only met Rich last year. He had a passion for business that really stuck with me, always trying new things and thinking big picture. I could tell he was a "dreamer" type of person. It was a real shock to hear of his passing. My thoughts go out to his family, rest is peace friend.

Rich, you will certainly be missed by all of us. I will always remember the emergency ride in the "Red Death" to take me to Riverview Hospital on the Navesink river. You were always first class Rich..... thank you and rest in peace.

As Rob stated, life gets busy and we lose touch with the friends who brought us so many fun times in our younger days. Rich was definitely one of those people. I will always remember his infectious smile and laugh and all the rides he gave Ann Marie and I home from RBC in his very tall black truck! May God watch over you Rich and your family.
