A truly inspiring person and an outstanding role model. He often spoke humbly of his family however his love and affection for them was undeniable. Quick to smile and share a story, I always looked forward to seeing him.
Til we meet again.

Richard:
A la prochaine. You were always grounded in the reality of the moment, be it good or bad, with wry Gallic observations on life's lighter moments. You taught a generation of telecom professionals that politics and religion sit atop the OSI 7-level stack, and to always be guided by that in their work. You had a unique capability to pull a rabbit out of the hat when required by the team. You thrilled in the evolution of telecommunications and created your own technical museum, but at heart you were always a people person as reflected by your wide circle of friends.
You laughed easily but never loudly. Above all else, you took great pride in your family.
It was a privilege to travel life with you for 28 years. We'll all carry a piece of you in our hearts and minds. My condolences to your wonderful family.

Richard is a true friend indeed, always stood by his high values and never hesitated to extend a helping hand. My family and I have many many wonderful memories of him.... Richard you are always with us even when we were absent. God bless and rest your soul in heavenly peace for ever, you left a legacy in my heart... The one thing I regret is I was away.... a lot and did not enjoy one of his peaceful last smiles while he was with us on earth

Vibrant. Fun loving. Kind. Deeply caring. Generous. Family oriented. Astute. A gentle man of integrity. These are just a few of the words that begin to hint at describing a man all of us will profoundly miss. We are so sorry for your loss.

I never saw Richard without a smile on his face, he was a man who brought kindness wherever he went. He always went out of his way to brighten someone's day, even in something so simple as having a quick conversation when he was in a rush. It's s sad to think he's no longer with us. I will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace.

Bien chers Richard

Richard was an incredibly special human being. When I think of Richard I think of a man who woke up everyday trying to find ways to brighten up other's days. He always had a big smile on his face and would never hesitate to help others. Whether it was making a special trip to get our daughter her favourite french fries, spending a day helping us set up our garden, or offering to put together a lamp - this was the essence of this extraordinarily special man. To this day, I have never witnessed two people more in love than Richard and Leona were, their love affair was a true inspiration. He was Finnegan's favourite person in the world and will always be remembered so very fondly by each and every person in our family. The world was a much better place with Richard Corbeil in it.
