Rick was one of a kind, for sure. I couldn't have asked for a better boss. I probably would not have become a paralegal if Rick hadn't given me a chance to learn the ins and outs of the wacky world of collections. And he was more than just a boss, he was my friend. We enjoyed many mornings before the start of the day working the crossword puzzle in USA today. I would help him with television and movie categories, and he did the rest. Made me feel good that I knew some things he didn't! My condolences to his family-he certainly will be missed.

Sorry for such a tremendous loss. Papaw Rick taught me so much when I was a child and I will always remember the kindness he showed me. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Our thoughts and prayers for the family from the Northmont Branch Library.
Richard loved to share stories of his life and I personally enjoyed talking about trains with him. We would share train catalogs and DVD's with each other and I always enjoyed hearing about the trains of Germany during the war.
He will be missed.
Paul
