Richard T. Daviau, 83

WORCESTER - Richard T. Daviau, 83, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 in the Blaire House.

His wife of 58 years, Joanne (Malonis) Daviau died in 2018. He leaves his three sons, Thomas Daviau, Richard Daviau and James Daviau all of Worcester and many extended family and friends. He was born in Worcester, son of Adolphus J. and Dorothy G. (Thomas) Daviaus and served in the US Army.

Richard retired from the Massachusetts State Police, after working 20 years at the Holden and Framingham Barracks, prior to that he worked for the Harrington Richardson Company and the Jamesbury Company. He was an avid New England Sports fan.

A Funeral Service followed by Military Honor's to Celebrate his Life and his Service to Our Nation will be held Friday, July 5th at 1:00pm at Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street. Arrangements in the care of Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St.
