Richard was a fine "gentleman " as were his brothers, who were raised by his loving parents in "The good old days".

Mr. D is the reason I wanted to become a teacher. He was always so kind, encouraging, and cool! I did become a teacher and if I´m half the teacher he was, I will be thankful. God bless Mr. D and his family.

Richard was a wonderful person and we shared many adventures together growing up in our close knit Italian family. Our cousins were more like siblings as our families were always together. He was beloved as a teacher , husband, father, cousin and friend. We will always love and miss him. It is painful to say goodbye. Corinne / Brud Mulqueen

I am so sorry for your loss. Though I haven´t seen Richie in 30+ years, I do remember him from when I was a young girl. He was kind, gentle, warm and loving. Going to the Destefano home for dinner and games was like a mini vacation to me! It was a fun and warm environment and I know Richie was a huge part of that.

I have so many memories of my cousin Richie. We shared the same love of family. He introduced me to the man I married and Loved with all my heart. But he at first discouraged my interest in Pete. It didn´t work and Rich ended up being our best man. I remember this evening in June when he and a group of friends came home from a Wake, it was for Pete´s Dad and exactly 6 months later Rich´s Dad passed away. My Uncle Anthony.
God Bless You Rich. My deepest sympathy to you Paula, Jen, Gina and Nicole.
My Love Jan
