Hello Donna, I was so sorry to hear of Darryl's passing. I worked with (for) Darryl in the Service Dept at Field Aviation in the '70's, and Darryl was very kind to me in more ways than one. He even convinced me to volunteer to go down to the old Planetarium to work on an aircraft restoration project! I will always think fondly and with appreciation of Darryl, and I am very sorry the loss to you and your family. Ken Demoskoff.

Dear Mrs. Devitt,
I had the pleasure of first meeting and working with your husband through Field Aviation many years ago. Darryl had the ability to make people feel comfortable and at ease, and it never felt like just "business". It was his personal friendliness and desire to make sure that you were treated right that cemented the first of many deals between DeHavilland/Bombardier and Field West. Before Darryl left Field, he created a legacy of enduring friendships by introducing me to many wonderful people in Calgary. Darryl made a difference, and his efforts convinced us to continue doing business there. I am grateful for having known him, professionally and personally. Please accept my most sincere condolences at your loss.
