Here I am in February 2024 learning of Dick leaving our earth. It is heavy heart yet filled with many wonderful memories of what an incredible person he was. I
had the great pleasure of working with him in Seattle when he was a Superintendent with S G. Taylor. We became good friends and I spent special times with both he and Gayle outside of work. A true individual filled with wisdom and humor. He will be forever in my heart I send loads of blessings to his family.

We are sad to hear our dear and long time friend has passed. We have many fond memories of Dick.
Raising our families together, visiting Dick & Gayle in the many places they lived, the story of Woodie & Dick on a backpacking trip ( carrying a 5 lb canned ham to eat, and so many more. Dick was a man of intergrity and we admired him and cherished him as a friend. We haven't been able to contact Gayle or her family so would appreciate a call. Barbara & Woodie Hays, 503-282-9835 - 4569 NE Cesar Chavez Blvd. Portland OR 9721l. Our heartfelt condolences and love to all the family.
