Richard "Dick" Dean Perry

He’s my brother in the faith and dear friend. Miss our time singing in the Church choir. Now you get to sing in the heavenly choir.

I just read Dick’s obituary. I expect the last time I saw Dick was about 1988, just before my family and I moved to Texas. I had worked with Dick for several years before then. He was always a good man and I feel a loss that he has passed. When I think of Dick, I recall the respect I had for him as a parent and a husband. It was an honor to know Dick and I wish his family well.

Rest In Peace, old friend.

My dear sweet brother, I hope you always knew how much I loved you. You were always my protector when we lived at home. We had our brother/sister annoying times but always knew we could count on one another. I am grateful that we had a mom and dad who shared with all of us the meaning of love and family. Many fun times together & lots of chocolate chip cookies, your favorite German chocolate cake occasionally on your birthday and always with a hot cup of coffee. I am so thankful that you were MY brother. When I saw you last, I knew you could hear me and feel my presence. You are gone from us physically but always, always in our hearts. Parkinsons no longer and for that, I’m grateful. Our loss is heaven’s gain.

We celebrate our Uncle walking into his inheritance eternal. I remember the last time I saw my uncle cracking jokes with him. He loved to laugh . We will miss you ! Peace to Aunt Ruby, Tammy and Richie. Love ❤ You All!

My good friend and brother in the faith. My life was truly blessed that our paths crossed. Lifetime of memories that I will always remember. The best one is when I would sing bass in the choir. I would always sit next to you so I could hit my note. You were the best. Love you my brother.

I have so many great memories with my Uncle Dick. I grew up going to central Christian church with him and went hone with he and my aunt ruby and cousins Tammy and Richie many sundays. I went to Dahlonega, Georgia with them and had such a wonderful time. I loved living close to all my aunts and uncles and spending the time I did with them. My daughter Kayla and I lived with them for quite some time when my daughter was about 3 and she loved going to church with them. My uncle dick is the one that baptized her. My son also has many memories with his great uncle dick. I am also glad my uncle dick got to meet his great-great niece (my granddaughter) Aurora before his passing. I will always cherish the memories I have and I am glad I got to see him and spend some time with him last week. Fly high uncle D.

I remember fishing on your dock in Tampa when I was a teenager. Even as obnoxious as I was capable of being, you were always kind-hearted to me. Thank you for being there. I will always appreciate you.

Praying for Ruby, Tamera, Richie and grandchildren as they walk through this deep valley. May the Lord comfort and sustain each of you, knowing you will see Dick again.

Many wonderful times and memories will always be in our hearts. Heaven has gained and we have lost you here on earth. Until we meet again Uncle Dick.

Rest In Peace Uncle Dick. You were an inspirational man of God, wonderful husband. Father, Grandfather and Uncle. You will be missed but we will meet again.

Ruby - We were so sorry to hear about Dick. We will always remember meeting you folks at Blue Jay (and our wonderful Spaghetti Supper at your home). Dick was certainly an inspiration for anyone dealing with Parkinsons. We want to extend our sympathy to you and your family.
