I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to family and friends of Richard. It's times like these when the loving promises of our Heavenly Father such as knowing that we can see our loved ones again can bring us comfort and soften some of the pain we feel in our hearts. 1 Thessalonians 4: 13,14

I am very sorry to see this news, I had the great pleasure many many years of joining him on stage for one of his tours in Europe along with meeting his wonderful wife Robbie and friend Ruth Gill. I was so impressed with his deep deep voice and both he and his wife taught us many Americanisms (I am English) but now an American citizen, it was a wonderful experience. We also went to dinner with them in Oxford after the tour, he made us feel very welcome . R.I.P Dr Ellis
