Dear Frankel Family, It is with deep sadness and sympathy that I learn of the passing of your beloved Father.
My Father, Broadus Taylor, had the honer of working for you Dad in managing the first McDonalds on Tunel Road. My Dad also went to Spartanburd, S.C, and worked the McDonalds there. And opened up two more for your Dad in Anderson.
Your Dad was a very kind person and was well thouht of, by those who knew him. He will forever remain alive in our thoughts and memories.
May God's love and peace be with you today and the day's ahead of you. My prayer's are with each of you.
I also send sympathy on behalf of my Dad.

I learned from Dick Frankel, that you must be true to yourself, carry on,and be your strongest judge to face your life with intregrity. He also was my example of ,to be the best you could be,even when obstacles got in your way.
I have been truly blessed because, he was also my uncle.

My deepest sympathies to the Frankel family. My time spent in Asheville were special because of my relationship with Dick. New and young to Asheville, Dick was the first to reach out and help me along in my growing years. His sincere concern to help and get involved in lives and issues that impacted so many will always be remembered and appreciated. Always full of life and a love for family and friends I will treasure.

Peace to you and the Frankel family. John Kuklenski

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Frankel. My first job was at the McDonald's on Tunnel Road in 1968. I remember having to go to training classes on Charlotte St. so we would become the employees he expected of his organization. There was a saying at work, "if you had time to lean, you had time to clean". I know the lessons I learned at his McDonald's influenced my work ethics for life. He will be missed. Sincerely, Paul Smith (Garden Grove, Ca.)
