Dear Rick,
I have had a very heavy heart since you passed, I am so deeply sadened by this loss, it has shaken me to the core, you were and still are the only dad I have ever known, we didnt always see eye to eye, but I can look back now as an adult and parent and see all the good that you had done for me. I remember going fishing with you by the calf robe bridge on sunday mornings, and having picnics with you in Edworthy Park, family vacations to Vancouver getting sunburnt beyond belief! I remember when your granddaughter Sydney was born, you were so proud that you were the second one there, next to mom. Again two years later when your Grandson Caleb was born, you were so happy at that time. In 2004 you walked me down the isle when I got married, I remember standing at the front of the church with you waiting to walk, you told me then how proud you were of me, That is a memory that I will keep and treasure forever. There is so much that I have left to say to you, there is not enough space for everything that I want to tell you. Just know that you are dearly missed and loved! I will see you again one day, and we will catch up then. xoxo
