Mr. Guthrie had driver ed and I recall a time we went out for a lesion. I kept hitting the brakes every time I saw a bird on the road. Needless to say, I drove him crazy that day. RIP to a nice teacher at PTHS..

Mr. Guthrie, You and my sister, Esther, were classmates at Trinity. She will be saddened to learn about your passing. I never took one of your classes at PTHS and
I was not an athlete; therefore, our paths never crossed. Nonetheless, I liked you and respected you. What a kind and caring hulk (shoulders as wide as a doorway!) You must have been.

Mr Guthrie was a wonderfully patient and kind teacher and a kind and humble man. I feel blessed who have known him. Praying for peace for all who loved him.
