Gene, I just heard about Richard and I wanted you to know I'm thinking of you and your family. It just seems like yesterday when we were all so young and had no cares in the world. I know that Richard was always the Father figure in your lives and I know you will miss him. Johnny says he sees you now and then. I tried to e-mail you jut to say hi, but never heard from you.
Remember, I'm thinking of you at this time.

Ione and I will sorely miss Richard at our Wednesday breakfasts at Grams. We truly enjoyed our conversations which ranged from finance to football, and even on occasion, politics. We especially enjoyed his stories of his travels and his experiences in the Deland High Band.

I will also miss him greatly on the Finance Committee at Church where we served together for the past eight years.

We wish to express our condolences to Richard's extended family, and wish them God's peace in this sad time.
