Richard Holden was a part of the Montreal landscape as well as the Province of Quebec. He got involved and tried to change things. He deserves so much respect for his effort and involvement. His family should be proud. Not many of us can do that.

An Edmontonian now but my spirit still a Quebecois.

Arthur, Claire and Caroline, I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's death. I remember him fondly as a most enthusiastic and supportive parent in the Westmount schools and I shall always appreciate the positive contribution in your education made by both your parents. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Arthur, Claire and family

The mere mention of your dad's name over the last few years always brings back memories of life on Kensington Avenue, New Years parties and my first cigar. I will miss him . A true bon vivant.

Dick was part of my childhood and youth at Lake Manitou. I remember him as a very bright and imaginative kid. I followed ,with interest ,any reports of Dick as an adult and send my sympathy to all his family

It was with sadness that we learned of Dick's untimely death. Notice of his passing caused us to reflect on, and remember, the wonderful times in other days in Montreal when our families were growing up together. Special condolences to Arthur, Chris, Caroline and their families from us as well as from Marc, Michele, Paul, Karen and Andrew who think of you often.
