Monty and Family
Sorry to hear of your and our loss. Will allways remember the great smile and all the good advice Mr. Hoover gave me in school. I think we were all very lucky to grow up with great parents and the great people in Pendleton. Your Dad was at the top of the list.

I can just barely remember Mr. Hoover, although my father, Willie Satkamp will remember him well. We sympathize with you over your loss and thank you for sharing Dick with the children of this community. Willie is 91 and now living with us in Union City. He remembers the past well and talks fondly of his teaching days. Our prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. May God bless you richly.

To the Hoover family,
I send my deepest sympathy to you at this time of loss. Mr. Hoover was so faithful to our class of 1955 at Union City West Side High School. He regularly attended our reunions, shared memories with great humor, and was interested in our lives presently. I was a very good student in high school and was very upset that my first term Beginning Typing grade was below an "A". He was pleasantly firm and encouraged me to keep working to improve. I will remember him as a person of integrity and good humor. May you feel God's comfort now and in the future.

Mont, Amy, and Mrs. Hoover - Gee it seems like only yesterday that Mr. Hoover was roaming the halls of PHS and PHHS expressing his wit and humor. My Wife and I always loved him and respected his knowledge. I want to express our condolences and true sorrow after reading today of his passing. His glowing smile and endless energy will be missed by all that was blessed by his friendship. In deepest sorrow, Jay & Judy Brown

To the Hoover Family,
I was saddened to learn of Mr. Hoover's passing. As an educator and guidance counselor, he touched countless students' lives at Pendleton and Pendleton Heights High Schools. But it was his wit, charm, and insight that I recall making the rigors of high school life so much easier.
With heartfelt condolences,
