Heard a song today that reminded me of rehearsing with you and the guys in Vancouver during that Western tour we did back in the day. Great memories my friend... Miss ya buddy...

My heart is aching. I knew Rick in school and he was always kind even when few others were. He'd often been in my thoughts. I had hoped to make contact thru fb to say thank you to him and found he'd passed away.
Prayers go out to his family and friends.

He was always ready to smile or make someone else smile! He was a unique and definitely unforgettable person, without doubt he will be missed.

I was so deeply saddened to hear that Rick had passed away. He was so special to all who knew him. We didn't see each other often but kept in touch through the years. When we talked he spoke always of his Dad and about those times long ago in Topsail, NL and in Vancouver when we got together when Rick was on the road. I'm so grateful for those memories. I know the angels in heaven surround him now with the love and caring he so deserved. His Mom, Grandmother and Dad can finally embrace him and welcome him home to rest in peace. Darlene, I am shocked and so saddened to hear of Ricky's passing. My heart is with you though I wish I could be with you in person. I have never forgotten Ricky's kindness towards my mother on her last ambulance trip up from Moncton. He will be sorely missed by many.

Darlene and family, I was shocked and saddened to hear about Ricky. When I think of how long I have known Ricky, I remember going to your house on Aberdeen St. with Susan when we were all kids, it was so long ago! Ricky....I have memories of you that will last a lifetime. You were an extremely talented, charming and caring person. I still picture you dressed up as spiderman in school and playing the drums in our "own" jurnior high school band. You were "one of a kind" and you will truly be missed.

I have wonderful memories from high school days and poor Darlene trying to keep us all under control at his grandma's house!
