Richard Jacobsen

Jacobsen, Richard 61, of Bloomington, MN, passed away on November 15th, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Jacobsen and his mother, Marguerite Jacobsen. He is survived by wife, Martha; son, Gustav; brother, Robert Jacobsen (wife Beverly); sister, Sue Hinkle (husband Jeff); as well as many nephews. He was successful in many aspects of life, though he focused primarily on real estate. He was a talented woodworker, loved to read and had a near insatiable thirst for knowledge and history. He was a man who stood by his word and lived with integrity. Even at death, his generosity continues. His wishes were to not only donate organs and tissues, but his whole body through the Anatomy Bequest Program at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Above and beyond all else, he was a good friend, a loving husband, and wonderful father. Those who had the honor to know him, are truly blessed. His life & his love will never leave us. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering held on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 at Pinstripes. 3849 Gallagher Drive, Edina MN. Service at 11:30 am, lunch from 11:45-1:30 pm.
