How do I remember a friend of 65 years?
Richard and I became friends during our early/mid teens, and put many miles on our bicycles, exploring and discovering our Jacksonville neighborhood and the nearby woods and river with our other friends, and never a dull moment was had!
He later became the first among us to get a car and a job, which expanded our universe as well!
Lots of fun and good times, and eventually we all went on to living our lives,- moving, marriage, children, and jobs., but we always stayed in touch through the years, and would occasionally be able to visit with each other in person and catch up with old and new times.
I am proud and honored to call him a friend, and will treasure those times and those days. -
This is a huge loss for me, and his large and loving family, and he will be missed every day. -
- So Long, Old Friend. -
Blessings to him ,and the entire family,
May he Rest in Peace.

I first met Richard at Advance Auto Parts in Altamonte Springs Florida where became good friends. I tried to keep up with Richard as long as I could. Since I have been under the weather for a while now and unable to do the things I wanted to do. So a lost touch with him. I will always remember his smile and his kindness. RIP my friend. Will always love you.

Richard was my big brother who fiercely protected his seven sisters and one brother. He knew all of us before we knew him. His kind and generous heart held our family together. He will be dearly missed but I know he now will be watching over us from a better place. He is at peace. I love him dearly.

I´ve known Richard for about 35 yrs. He was a kind and caring man who was generous in allowing crazy teenagers in the 80s to watch football and chill at his home with his wonderful wife Dalelynn. He would check out my car before I went on a trip and helped me feel comfortable setting out. Richard had a great sense of humor and was generous with others. He will be missed. Sending love and prayers to the whole family.
