Richard Samuel Junop December 23, 1943 April 6, 2012 Richard of Asquith, SK passed away at Royal University Hospital on Friday, April 6, 2012 at the age of 68 years. Richard is survived by his loving family: Lorraine and four sons, Bradley, Kelly (Shauna), Ryan (Nancy) and Shane; six grandchildren, Matthew, Jason, Zachary, Samuel, Morgan and Amber (Shauna's daughter); one sister and two brothers, Greeta Hogg, Gerry (Gladys) and Raymond (Betty). He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Vilola Junop; brother, Glen Junop; and granddaughter Amber Junop. Richard was born in Saskatoon and took up farming early in his life. Richard married Lorraine Bozok and together they farmed and raised their family near Asquith. Richard worked hard all his life to ensure his family had all they needed. Richard drove the school bus for years. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. Richard loved and adored his grand children and will be greatly missed by them. A Memorial Service to celebrate Richard's life will be held Friday, April 13, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon. Donnie talked very highly of Richard, always enjoyed his company and always considered him his brother-in-law. We are sorry that you are having to feel the pain of your loss, we hope that you may find some comfort from family and friends. huge hugs xo and sorry we couldn't be there.
