Dick Kent was a great American, my Battalion Commander in the 2/325 AIR, 82d Airborne Division. Enjoyed serving with him, great but quirky sense of humor. Grip hands............

I am saddened to hear of COL Dick Kent's passing. He was the first CO I met when I married my husband and joined him at Ft Bragg while my husband was assigned to the 2/325 ABN INF. My prayers go out to Barbara and the family. As always, All the Way Sir!

It was a pleasure and an honor for him to trust us with the work on all of his vehicles, especially his prized Wyllis Jeep. We had lots of long talks and enjoyed his company and humor when servicing his vehicles. He will truly be missed.

Such a wonderful man, a great friend! He was an honorable military figure, but I remember him best when he read in Temple...his rich, melodious voice. He will be missed.
