Very saddened to hear of your loss. Followed Ricks career during his playing days and very proud to have known him as a child. My condolences to the parents and family.

Played soccer and football with Rick growing up in Sardis. I'll always remember his tenacity in what ever he did. He was an inspiration to me to always do my best at whatever I tried to do. I am so glad to hear he gave his heart to Jesus, I'll be looking for him when I reach heaven's gates. My sympathy's to the Klassen family, praying for God's peace and love to envelop you completely.

My name is Kelly Gordon. I was a teammate of Ricks' at SFU in 1980. Rick was a football idol to me then and now. I am shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. He was a great athlete and person. My condolences for your loss.
