Richard Edwin Koetting, 59, formerly of Altenburg, died on July 15, 2018 at the Estates of Perryville in Perryville, MO.
He was born March 23, 1959 in Perryville, MO, the younger son of Bernard and Rita (Schemel) Koetting. His father survives in Perryville, MO.
He had been co-owner of KMZ Construction. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1263 and St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Other survivors include one brother, Donald (Winona) Koetting of Perryville; one niece, Lindsey Edmonds of Cape Girardeau; one nephew, Landon Koetting of Perryville; one great-nephew, Jesse Edmonds and one great-niece, Riley Edmonds, both of Cape Girardeau, MO.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 17 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, July 18 from 6:30 am until 12:30 pm. He will then be taken to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for funeral Mass at 1:00 pm with Rev. Joseph Geders C.M. officiating. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Memorials preferred to Crown Hospice.
