Dear Brother Dick,
Thank you for being such a wonderful loving person to all who you met in this life. May our dear Lord reward you richly for your devotion to following His message. Please pray for us that remain here that we might continue your example of living, until we, too, can join you in eternal bliss.

I was a student of Prof. Krill's in the late 70s. I will always remember his Venus de Milo story. He was a wonderful teacher and a charming man. His family has my sincere sympathies.

Dick was a wonderful person, a valuable colleague and a supportive chair. We have nothing but wonderful memories of him.

Mrs K, Gina,Shelly,Mimi and the rest of his big,beautiful family-I have so many great memories of him-from sitting on his knee while he read the comicS (with all the voices of course) to his hilarious 50th birthday party. He was a man of infinite patience and had a smile for everyone he met. There is a definite hole on Earth where he was but I know they are glad to fill that hole in Heaven. Love and prayers to all,

My brother-in-law Dick reminds me of my father in many ways. A professor of Classical Languages who was a loving husband, a devoted Dad, and had a wry sense of humor, Dick was guided throughout his life by his Catholic upbringing and values and appreciated the finer things in life.
I'll miss you, Dick. Our family had many special times together over the years, with the in-laws and the out-laws enjoying annual reunions and celebrating life events.
You were always at the head of the table and I looked for you there this week at our family dinner. I believe you are still here in spirit and all the great memories of our times together will always be with us.

It was always special when you joined us for the 1952 class "meetings". We were sorry to hear of Dick's passing. All in St. Louis who have heard the news have expressed sadness. I can remember Dick from years ago when he courted and won the hand of my cousin, Mary Louise. He was always a gracious and friendly person to me and all who knew him in our family. I still have his translation of Aesop's Fables that I have shared with many children as a teacher and with my own grandchildren who all enjoyed the stories.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Mary Louise and all of her children and grandchildren as they grieve the lose of such a good person.

I had the privelage of having Dr. Krill for an uncle. Whenever I got the chance to spend time with him I enjoyed it. He continued the legacy of his father in law, the grandfather I never met, as college professor. I intend to continue that legacy into the next generation, but I have a tough act to follow! I am glad I brought happiness to him in his last years with "The Student Prince". Rest In Peace Uncle Dick, you will be missed.
