We will all miss you Rick. You were always entertaining to hang out with. I remember playing pool with you and little Ricky. You're competitive good-natured spirit was always a blast. We enjoyed your stories driving down the canyon. Roaring camp will never be the same without you. Cousin Tim

It's hard to express the warmth Rick conveyed to his family and friends. His loving family and those who knew him were very, very lucky. My family and friends were always so impressed by his community mindedness, spirit and generosity. Roaring Camp will always be filled with the essence of Rick.

Dear cousin, Kim and family,
May you all find peace in the wonderful memories you have of Rick. Don, Tim, Alex and I will always have special memories of Rick being so welcoming with his arms held wide, his laughter, and smile. I know this summer when we go to Roaring Camp we will think of him sitting in his chair next to his loving family and smiling.
With Love, Valerie

We remember Rick and his smile and helpful attitude. Having joined the family for the Saturday night dinner down in the valley we always enjoyed the special adventure that he arranged for us. I remember one really rainy night that traveling down to the valley was pretty messy however Rick and the whole family worked hard to make sure we had a great time. The rain stopped, they got us dry and dinner was wonderful along with the stories that were told.
I also assisted them with travel plans and Rick was always interested in making the vacation great for everyone. We will miss him and feel assured that he is in a good place with God in Heaven. Pat & Larry Waller

Richard was a big part of what has become an Institution in our lives, Roaring Camp. It is never easy to say goodbye to a loved one, and our hearts and prayers stand with the Family in this time of sorrow. We like to celebrate life and Richard has a place in our thoughts as each coming year leads us to Roaring Camp for a break from our own lives and the annual ritual of re-joining the Roaring Camp Family for a week or two!
