Charles "Chase" Rider
July 16, 2009
Richard was in my ground school class at Flight Express in February of 2007. I also got to hang out with him in Pensacola when we both had schedules with long layovers there and we also talked on the company radio frequency. He was very nice and was always eager to talk about anything with anyone. The coincidence is that I had not seen him for months after I left the company, but I happened to be at the Pensacola airport on Friday, July 3rd and I glanced into the pilot lounge and there was Richard on his laptop playing games. RIP Richard

As Tom said Richard had a one of a kind personality. Always friendly and eager to talk to anyone. He was also a very skilled/knowlagable pilot one of our best. I'm going to miss the talks in TLH while waiting for couriers. REST IN PIECE

It was nice to get to know you over the past year and a half, as pilots with Flight Express we had a chance to hang out for a few lunches and do fun stuff during our layovers in Pensacola, or just talking about things or hanging out in Orlando. You had a one of a kind personality, and you would always look at the bright side of things. Always a smile ready to talk about anything at any time. Very dedicated to your job and getting your work to it's destination on time. Now I see your "Cleared to Land in Heaven” May you Rest In Peace Richard.
