Richard Lichter The funeral service for Richard Lichter will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at Countryside Funeral Home, 333 S. Roselle Road (½ mile south of Irving Park Road), Roselle. Interment will be in Ridgewood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at the funeral home. Born Sept. 3, 1948, in Chicago, he died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, at home. Richard was an avid sailor out of the Monroe and Burnham Harbors. He was the husband of Brigitte (nee Hendler); father of Megan Carrillo and Lauren Lichter; grandfather of Angelica and Aaliyah; and brother of Ronald Lichter and the late Wally.
