RICHARD MAJCHER Obituary
Age 69, of Kennedy Twp., suddenly on Sunday April 10, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Jeanne (Masilunas); father of Greg (Jennifer) and Wendy Majcher; loving grandfather of Max and Alex; brother of Roberta Sarsfield, Regis, Gerald and Lawrence Majcher. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY at the McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Road, Kennedy Twp., 412-771-4455, where funeral prayers will be offered 9:30 a.m. FRIDAY, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Malachy Church.

Richie was my "Go To Man"for any question's on Life to having a Good Steak and a Beer.This was always a Special Time for us and meeting some of his many Friend's they shared in the same experience.I will miss him and the Love we shared.Love & Blessing your brother Larry

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Majcher family during this difficult time. When we first rented the condo on the Outer Banks nearly 25 years ago, we had no idea a great friendship would be born. We returned each year to the OCEANS for our summer vacations and always received a nice call from Rich during our stay. The summer calls turned into frequent chats, and before long he became part of our family. We will miss him dearly.

Our memories of Rich while working at Honeywell are many and every one of them great! He will be missed by all of us who came to know him as a friend, co-worker, and a true leader.

Rich will be greatly missed at the Outer Banks. He always volunteered to take care of things during his spring and fall visits to The Oceans Condo, which was much appreciated by the owners.

The toughest part of life is losing the ones that you love. Rich was admirable, kind, considerate, lovable, so very likable, and a model husband & father. We wish him peace.
