Dear Brian and Christopher,
We were both so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. We were away and didn't hear of it until today. We enjoyed many years of knowing both Richard and Mary Ellen and will think of them often. I hope time will help heal the grief you are feeling now and know that they will always be with you in your hearts. You have our deepest sympathy.

Brian and Chris, I am so sorry to hear of the death of your Dad. I have such wonderful memories of him and your mother at the many "McCarthy gatherings." He was one of the smartest, funniest people I've ever met. I hope that all the wonderful things people are saying about him will bring you comfort, and the knowledge that your parents are so loved will bring you joy. You are in my prayers.
