He always knew the Glass was half Full Never was it Half empty. Once I was visiting a friend in Castine. She introduced me to her one of her friends and mentioned Dick. "Oh, you must meet Dick, she said, He is the most optimistic man there is." She proceeded to tell the friend how Dick had been raising taking several of his adopted kids on his own. And always had a positive outlook on life. Yes We all Salute You. We Miss You Dick

He was one of the kindest and most considerate men and a wonderful brother-in-law. We are very proud that he spent his life in service to his country and community. He will be missed.
