Selma, California - Richard "Rick" Metzler, passed away peacefully on January 8th, 2022 at his home in Selma, CA.
The "greatest fisherman" leaves behind "the catch of his life" married for 57 years, Gloria Marlene Metzler, Daughters: Kari Schilling, Kelly Baker, and Kathleen Palmer; Son-in-law, Mike Baker, 8 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren, 3 Sisters, & 1 Brother.

We think of Rick often. Tell funny camping stories of him. He was a true friend with a pure heart. We have always missed him.

Ricky is a good man, a good husband, a good father, and a much loved Grandpa. Who could ask for more of a man? I am so proud to call him my friend. He was a blessing to us all.
