Dear Rick,
It has been a month since you left us but seems like only days ago. Everyone still says they can't believe your not here. Rick, we think of you everyday and know you are watching over us. We miss you and love you. We miss your smile, our conversations and all the good times we've shared along with your words of wisdom. You will ALWAYS be on our mind and in our hearts. Rest in peace our dear friend. LOL

Denise,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband. My prayers are with you and your family. I don't know if you remember me, we use to go to St. Elizabeth School many years ago.
Take care and I will keep you in my prayers.

Denise & family. What a shock to find out Rick was gone when we returned from a week away. We were all just talking about Las Vegas and many other things a couple of weeks ago and had such a good time at "the club.". I almost had Sally convinced to take our motor home to a NASCAR race! Our heartfelt condolences. We're so sorry.

Denise and Matt,
Although I haven't known Rick or you two for a very long period of time. I saw what a wonderful person Rick was. I do remember those times he was a customer of mine at the Mobil when I use to work there and he always had a smile and kind words to say. Marty who we all know well has always spoke kindly of Rick and always said you could never meet a nicer person. I for one could not agree more with those words just for the times I have spoken with Rick. He will be missed by many including me. Your family will always remain in my prayers and thoughts.
Denise and Matt please if there is anything I could do for either of you please let me know. Always know there are hugs for you.
Love Dee

Denise and Matt,
It is hard to know what to say or truly express how I feel. Rick has always been a part of my family and my life. I still remember playing football when we were younger in the front yard. Going to Dover will always be a part of me and all the great times we have shared as a group. I could always talk to Rick about anything and he was always a good listener with lots of inspiring advice. I will truly miss not seeing him around the holidays or throughout the years. Rick was like family to me and will be dearly missed.
Denise and Matt if there is ever anything I can do for you please call me. You both will always be a part of me just as Rick is.
Love Always Marty.

Denise and Matt - Robin emailed with this very sad news. Words cannot begin to express what is in our hearts but please know that you are in our prayers at this time. Rick was a great guy - always busy; not one to plaster a hole but rather build a new wall. In time may the memories of happier times help ease your sorrow.

Rick, i know i always gave you a hard time about being old, but your definately to young to have left just yet.I can't say i've ever ever met anyone nicer or more helpful than you. I dont think i would have finished a single derby car this past summer if it hadn't been for you saying "you know the shows in 4 days and the car hasnt even run yet, isnt it time to get working?" and then staying till 11:00-11:30 some nights becasue you wouldnt be able to help the next day ( and doing most of the important things). I'm glad i got to spend as much time with you and matt as i did this past summer. I learned alot from you. You will be sincerely missed.
Denise and Matt you know i'm always here if you need anything.

Denise and Matt,
I was so shocked when you called me on Friday. Although there are never the right words to say at a time like this, I want you both to know that I have had you in my thoughts and prayers constantly. Rick was always smiling everytime I saw him, and he always had a way of making light of my many crisises. I always knew he was a great guy, but the way Dakota took to him, just sealed it. He will be missed by many.
If there is anything we can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask.
We love you,
Sharon Snyder

To Denise & Matthew. We'll always remember Rick at Monday night bowling at the old Owls Club. His smile and personality was always contagious and his helpful hints and tips about bowling were always welcome. It's very sad when a life is taken at such a ripe age and he will be truly missed.
