Richard Joseph "Dick" Morris, 80, passed away peacefully January 15, 2018, in Arlington. Surviving are his wife Alice, sons Rick and Robb Morris, stepsons Ed and Michael Millerand step-daughter Carrie-Ann Gonzales. Also surviving are grandchildren Carson, Bailey, Paige, Bryce, Jason, Keith, Chelsea, Daniel, Steve and Brenna. Great-grandchildren Yaniya, Riley, and Avery.

Born in Washington, DC, Richard graduated from Washington-Lee High School, served in the U.S. Air Force, and had a distinguished career with the Arlington County Fire Department, receiving a reward for valor and retiring as a captain. He enjoyed playing the guitar and loved riding his motorcycle.

A Memorial Service will be held January 27, 2018, 11:00 AM, at St. George's Episcopal Church, 915 N. Oakland St., Arlington, VA 22203 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 OR www.stjude.org.
